Balochistan

Balochistan, situated in south-western region of Pakistan is the largest province in terms of covered land area and smallest in terms of population. Balochistan is the least developed province of the country with only one major city, Quetta.

Balochistan has a tradition of tribes from centuries with ethnic background of Balochs, Pashtuns, Brohis with other smaller communities of Afghan Muhajirs and Hazaras.

Topography of Balochistan is majorly based on mountains with many kinds of natural reserves such as gas, oil, metals and precious stones. Balochistan has a rich history of cultures from various diversities which has led to many conflicts leading these reserves to remain a wasted controversy.
